Art Director
Location: Kansas City Department: Creative
VML is looking for an Art Director to join the Kansas City office.
Here are some things we expect from the ideal Art Director:
Solid concepting and design chops, plus a flair for interactive know-how
Three to five years of digital and traditional design experience
Visual communication skills that will knock our socks off – that includes design skills, typography, layout and interactive engagement
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. We’re talking lightening fast
Strong attention to detail and process
A one-stop-shop for intermediate software skills in Flash, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, HTML and the capabilities of web browsers
A triple-threat in banner building - static, Flash and rich media
Art Directors at VML don’t sit around concepting and directing – they actually design. And more importantly, they’re not a one-man band. On a daily basis, they play nice with Creative Directors, Writers, Motion Graphic Designers, User Experience Architects, Planners, Account Managers, Media Professionals and clients – so stellar presentation skills and rockin’ collaboration abilities are a must.
