Job Description The Director of Retail Marketing will provide strategic direction and develop in-house retail merchandising expertise in the marketing department at Burton. This position will develop year-round retail marketing and merchandising programs for our network of wholesale dealers. The key focus will be on linking Burton, Red, and anon global needs within North America, Europe, Japan, and new markets to create consistent branding and possible production efficiencies. Position will have in-market responsibility for all of North America and will be responsible for bringing a unique "Burton" merchandising discipline to key accounts (top 50 yearly) throughout the US and Canada.
In addition to these programs, this position will be responsible for driving the creative direction and production of all Tradeshow strategies and properties for Burton, Red and anon as well as creating synergy between the retail brand presentations, sales meeting product merchandising, tradeshows, and key events.
This position requires Bachelor's degree and at least 8-10 years of direct retail merchandising management experience. Candidate must have global merchandising experience, as well as experience in developing consistent retail branding platforms.
