Job Description
Warner Bros. Consumer Products Inc. seeks a Creative Intern for the Creative department. Under the direction of the department Vice President, intern would both observe and work with staff directors and designers in a variety of areas. Attend some internal meetings to learn various business aspects and day-to-day activities of department. Assist staff designers on some projects from concept to completion. Possible opportunities to utilize computer skills in Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Word. Provide some general support for department (i.e. answering telephones, photocopying, filing).
Requirements
Studying toward a degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred. Must be able to receive course credit for hours worked as intern. Experience in an office environment preferred. Must be a creative thinker able to brainstorm and help develop ideas with impact. Effective oral/written skills preferred. Strong and varied computer software knowledge preferred, i.e., Mac OSX, Illustrator and Photoshop. Must be able to accept direction/instruction from varied personnel. Must be willing to learn. Must be able to work in a hectic and fast-paced environment. Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Must be professional, able to accept responsibility and possess effective listening skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels. Must be able to perform multi-task assignments. Must be a team player. Must have strong problem solving skills.
